Natural lifestyle habit that expands your pantry

Natural habit that expands your pantry

Reader, we started this year with some natural lifestyle habits that will make your life easier, simpler, and more natural. Today, let's talk about it a bit more.

With food and cooking, for example, everything feels so much easier if you have planned even a bit. Now, when it is springtime and we're getting into summer soon, I intentionally plan to spend time outside in the forest with my daughter. And, intentionally, I keep an eye on things that are growing in the forest to forage food for free to expand our pantry.

It's a win-win.

Time well spent outside with kiddo, and almost by accident, we have more food to fill our fridge and cupboard with. Saving money and spending time with the little one.

Foraging is one of the joys of a natural lifestyle. Starting with simple plants like stinging nettles is a perfect choice, for they are easy to identify and abundant!

If you have just begun dabbling with foraging, try these nettle pancakes to start with. I have also instructions on how to prep the stinging nettles, to take off the sting. Yup, not fun to eat with the sting - don't try!

Get ready for some exciting foraged recipes coming your way in the upcoming emails! If you have a moment, I’d love for you to click on your choice in the poll below of what you’d like to hear about in the next letters.

And remember, if you need a more detailed answer, just hit the reply button and share your thoughts with me—it would truly mean so much! ♡

Every day makes a difference. ♡
