Caffeine Awareness Month: Rethink Your Intake This Spring

Natural Lifestyle Letters

Reader, March just rolled in.

Is it just me, or has the start of the year gone wayyy faster this year?

I have plenty on my March Bucket List, but one thing this month to pay attention to is the caffeine intake.

Why?

Well, not just because March is Caffeine Awareness Month, but after the winter survival mode, it is a good moment to make a gentle reset.

Instead of focusing on strict limits or cutting things harshly out, I’ve been thinking about something calmer:

The quality of our energy.

Not all energy feels the same.

  • Wired vs steady alertness
  • Sharp energy vs smooth focus
  • Timing vs quantity

As we move from winter into spring, the light shifts. Our rhythms begin to shift too. And sometimes the habits that carried us through darker months continue automatically — without us really noticing.

Winter survival habits don’t always fit spring.

It's not about replacing one with the other. It’s about noticing the rhythm of your own energy — and choosing your energy source intentionally instead of automatically.

Maybe that means tea before coffee.

Maybe it means slowing down the brewing.

Maybe it means simply holding a warm cup in both hands instead of scrolling.

Caffeine Awareness Month can be less about restriction — and more about paying attention.

Every day makes a difference ♡

PS. If you’re curious about how tea and coffee create different kinds of energy, I wrote more about that here.
