Simple natural habits that make life easier this spring ♡

Natural Lifestyle Letters

Hi Reader,

we started this year with some natural lifestyle habits that will make your life easier, simpler, and more natural.

Today, let's talk about it a bit more.

Before we do, I want to note that I have a quick poll in the end of this letter, and it would mean a lot for me if you'd give your opinion!

But back to the habits for now. With food and cooking, for example, everything feels so much easier if you have planned even a bit. Now, when it is springtime and we're getting into summer soon, I intentionally plan to spend time outside in the forest with my daughter. At same time intentionally, I keep an eye on things that are growing in the forest to forage food for free to expand our pantry.

It's a win-win.

Time well spent outside with kiddo, and almost by accident, we have more food to fill our fridge and cupboard with.

There are plants in the forest that are happily growing there, within your reach, completely for free. Saving money while being outdoorsy is totally a dreamy natural lifestyle habit.

Foraging is one of the joys of a natural lifestyle.

Starting with simple plants like stinging nettles is a perfect choice, for they are easy to identify and abundant!

You should have seen my Moroccan husbands face when I first time told him that we are eating the stinging nettles for the dinner. After a long silence he asked: "Are you sure?..."

If you have also doubts in your family start with these nettle pancakes are perfect to win any skeptics on your side! I have in the recipe also instructions on how to prep the stinging nettles, to take off the sting or freeze them for later.

Try out these forager recipes too!

You can be sure that when I am being too strict, straightforward, and overorganized a Nordic girl, my husband gives me a bit of a Moroccan easygoing, life-hugging perspective to take it easier. With that balance, the Blue tea tile blog, YouTube Channel and the weekly Natural Lifestyle Letters broadcast are built on.

A woman holding a vanilla matcha latte cup in her hands

@BlueTeaTile Hi Reader, You might recognise this feeling. Matcha and I, we didn't have a great start. To be honest, I didn't like it at all. The grassy flavour simply wasn't for me, and I couldn't understand why so many people loved it and what all the fuss was about. Then a friend and colleague of mine made matcha fudge for our booth at a Restaurant Day sale. To my surprise, I loved it! That made me realise that matcha, paired with vanilla and sweetness, is a whole other story than a plain...
